Control Panel
A ControlPanel is an organizational unit for a locations automation devices.
Attributes
- Location - Location to which the control panel belongs.
- Name/Tag - Control panel identifier tag.
- Physical Location - The physical location of the control panel.
- Description - Control panel description.
- Public Notes - Available for any notes related to the control panel. Notes are public and visible to all Employees and Clients.
- Active - The control panel is active. If inactive the control panel will be moved to the bottom of the list view and high-lighted in red. Inactive control panels can also be deleted.

Control Panels cannot be destroyed by standard employees. Since removing the panel will permanently destroy the device, all associated data including automation devices, multi-variable devices, etc. the destroy action requires a higher access level. An employee can set the panel to inactive which will remove it from Client views but retain its data.

List Views
The Control Panel list views are available in two places.
- Sidebar - Select Assets > Control Panels from the sidebar to display a list of all control panels.
- Location View - Select Control Panels from the menu when viewing a location to display a list of all control panels associated with the location.
The lists are sorted by name. Any de-activated control panels are displayed at the end of the list and are highlighted RED to indicate the disabled status.
Details
In addition to viewing the details of the control panel the view also displays the Automation Devices that belong to the panel.
The control panels also have an Shutdown Key that is accessible on the detail view. The shutdown key displays the causes and effects of the automation devices in a tableized view.
Delete
Control Panels can only be deleted once the panel is set to inactive. This allows panels to be temporarily hidden without permanent deletion. Deleting a panel will also remove all automation devices associated with the panel.
