An Trade is an employee profession.

- Name - The name of the trade.
- Manager? - Check if this trade manages other trades.
- Managed By - The trade that manages the trade.

Special Trades
Parts Permitted Employee
If a trade name contains 'Parts' any employee assigned that trade will be permitted to create and interact with Purchase Orders and Inventory. The will also be able to view material rate information in order to check pricing on purchase orders and set material rates.
Sales Permitted Employee
If a trade name contains 'Sales' any employee assigned that trade will be permitted to create and interact with Quotes and Service Agreements. A sales employee will be able to view rates in order to complete quotes and service agreements. They are also able to review past work tickets to verify previous charges.
FAQ
- Can a name include 'Parts' anywhere in the name to give a employee Purchase Order access?
Yes. A name of 'Parts Manager', 'Lord O'Parts' or 'Partsman' are all valid and will grant the employee Purchase Order Access.
