Material

A Material is a item, appearing on Work Tickets, for sale. Materials are defined company wide however, Branch specific pricing are supported allowing for variable rates based on the branch.

Attributes

Material_New

  • Name - Material name, this name appears on Work Tickets.
  • Manufacturer - Material manufacturer.
  • Part Number - Material part number.
  • Description - Material description.
  • Active - The material is active. If inactive the material will be hidden from the list view.

If the user has an administrator or management role the rates can also be entered

  • Branch - Branch to which the rate is applied.
  • Rate - The sales rate of the material.

Employees have access to the table view and detail view of equipment but cannot view rate information.

Employees who have 'Parts' access are also permitted to create and edit material but cannot view rate information.

Details

Material_Show

If the user has an administrator or management role the view also display the rate information for the material. The rate information provides a listing of sales rates per branch as well as recent purchase order information.
